BX54DDJ was a Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400 owned by National Express West Midlands, new to the operator in 2004.

Trivia

BX54DDJ was branded for the celebration of transport in the Walsall area as one of a number of “heritage liveries” that the operator had introduced.

Incidents

In December 2021, BX54DDJ was partly destroyed in a fire at the NX West Midlands depot, with the decision to subsequently sell it for scrap, as it was deemed to be damaged beyond economical repair.

NX West Midlands 1834 BV57XHB has since been repainted into the Walsall Corporation livery.
